Michael is really a corporate and commercial lawyer with over 20 years’ experience in UK and global business. His early career included 5 years working in-house with a major UK plc (GKN), advising on transactions and joint ventures in the UK, Europe, PRC, and also the China, in industries as diverse as Defence, Automotive, Light Industrial and Services. In the late twenties he formed area of the team that started the united kingdom office of Dorsey & Whitney, leading US M&A lawyer. He earned partner as part of his early thirties and grew the firm’s venture capital practice, acting for clients such as Deutsche Bank, Intel Capital, Orange Ventures and Motorola Ventures, as well as retaining his commercial practice with clients from Cisco to Jim Henson.
